Proxy systems
Nexus
A control layer for provisioning and managing proxies, connecting upstream gateways to configurable child proxies.
The context
Running a proxy service involves more than forwarding traffic. Each proxy needs a stable identity, credentials, a listening port, upstream configuration, and a way to update those settings without losing track of it.
What I built
I built the Python control API around a proxy engine, with management operations for child proxies, upstream configuration, and per-proxy speed limits. The project also includes container-based deployment and service synchronization.
Key parts
- Create, update, and remove child proxies through an API.
- Configure upstream connections, protocols, ports, and credentials.
- Apply individual speed limits and synchronize configuration with the proxy engine.
